GRAEME PRICE

EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN

Over the years, Graeme has gained a broad spectrum of knowledge within the financial services sector across a variety of roles. This is put into service to help fellow entrepreneurs use all of the levers at their disposal to accelerate the growth rate of their businesses.

Graeme chairs the Group Board, is a member of the Risk Committee, the Investment Committee, and the Sales & Marketing Committee.  He has responsibility for the overall strategy and future direction of the business.

Outside of Jarrovian, Graeme is a charity trustee and the chair of a not-for-profits organisation. In his spare time, he can often be found on a course, with Cheltenham and Ascot being particular favourites or in his chosen grounds of Plough Lane or St. James Park

JULIE KITSON

TRUSTS & ESTATE SERVICES

Julie started out as a tax officer with HMRC, before moving into an advisory role within the tax department of a chartered accountancy firm. Her interest in the financial planning sector began when she assisted with the setup of a subsidiary financial advisory service, resulting in her career-changing course where she now specialises in the personal tax and trust arena. Julie’s passionate advocacy for the use of trusts in providing workable tax and estate planning solutions that can be explained in simple terms is second to none.

Julie is the Director of our Trust and Estate Services business and also sits on the Group board as well as the Sales & Marketing Committee.

Outside of work, Julie enjoys travelling, food, drink, and good company.

JAMES GLYNN

FINANCIAL PLANNER

James’ career started with a specialist pensioneer trustee, before qualifying and moving to Clydesdale Bank Private Wealth Management. When Clydesdale decided to close their wealth management business, James’ strong sense of duty towards his clients ensured they were not left without the guidance they required. CFWM was created, reflecting James’ client-centric ethics and principles. After much due diligence, James and CFWM found in Jarrovian a business with shared cultural values, and the two businesses merged.

James focuses on financial life planning for entrepreneurs and mapping out what life holds after work tapers off or ceases altogether.

James is a director of the Wealth business and sits on the Group Board. He heads up the Investment & Product Committee, sits on the Sales & Marketing and Risk Committees, as well as being head of our St. Albans office.

James and Louisa have two children. When not being a taxi driver Dad, he somehow finds time to follow Spurs, go to the gym and fit in as many gigs as possible. Being foodies, James and Louisa have a restaurant list they are slowly attempting to tick off.

CHRIS SALACINSKI

CHARTERED FINANCIAL PLANNER

Chris initially started his career with UBS before joining Adam at Dragonfly and subsequently Jarrovian. Chris works with like-minded people, seeking to help them grow not just financially but holistically by acting as a mentor and lifestyle coach. He believes this helps build long term, trusted relationships with his clients.

Chris is a director of our Wealth business and sits on the Group board along with the Sales & Marketing Committee where he has a focus on social media output.

Chris spends as much of his spare time as possible with his wife Jo and their two boys, going on holiday whenever feasible. From time to time he manages to get out on the golf course although his handicap seems particularly resistant to change!

FRANK OXBERRY

BUSINESS DEVELOPER

Frank’s entire career has been in the financial service sector in a variety of roles including business development at Clarkson Hill as well as running his own practice. Frank spends the vast majority of his time working with fellow entrepreneurs and professional connections.

At Jarrovian, Frank sits on the Group board along with the Investment & Product Committee and the Sales & Marketing Committee. He is also head of our Chelmsford office.

Frank enjoys going on holiday with friends and family, watching Spurs or somehow fitting in a round of golf. Occasionally he manages to get across to France to see his horses, which he has a share in, race.

GERRY PROBETT

FINANCIAL PLANNER

Gerry’s career started with Prudential before moving to Teachers Assurance, running a team that covered the south of England. In 2001 Gerry joined a family run firm in Surrey. As his client numbers continued to grow from his clients’ recommendations, Gerry wanted to expand the offerings available to his clients in a more progressive business and found Jarrovian fit his requirements.

Gerry’s focus is on planning for entrepreneurs and those seeking to define what retirement means to them.

At Jarrovian, Gerry sits on the Sales & Marketing Committee with a particular focus on business development with professional connections.

For relaxation Gerry enjoys watching cricket, especially Test cricket, reading science fiction, and spending time with his wife Lesley in Devon, by the sea.

DIANA THORNTON

RELATIONSHIP MANAGER

Diana’s career in financial services started at Bacon & Woodrow, which developed her knowledge and experience within the pensions sphere, leading to her promotion to team leader supporting the financial planning consultants. Diana started working with James in 2014 to help manage the growth of the business, and subsequently moving with James to Jarrovian.

Diana is married to Richard and they have three children. Most weekends see Diana on the sideline of a football pitch somewhere cheering on her son and daughter. Diana tries to keep fit in her spare time and loves socialising with friends over a glass of wine or two! She also loves her holidays!

ROBIN BARTON-JONES

CLIENT ADMINISTRATOR

After graduating with a Business Management degree, Robin started his career working as a Relationship Manager for Lloyds Bank in Hertfordshire. Robin then joined James at CFWM, before moving across to Jarrovian. He continues to seek professional development in his career, working towards further exam successes.

Robin thrives on client interaction and is always seeking ways to ensure that they receive the best possible service.

Robin is married to Carolina. They love travelling to visit new places, with the Caribbean being a favourite. In his spare time, Robin likes to cycle to keep fit and is a season ticket holder at Spurs.

KIM BROWN

ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT

Kim’s career started within the legal sphere, first working for the Magistrates’ Court Service in the North East, before moving to London to become a legal secretary, gaining invaluable experience as PA to the senior partner of a large law firm in Hertfordshire.

Kim began working with James and the rest of the St Albans team in 2015, subsequently coming across to Jarrovian when the two businesses merged.

ISABELLA GOODE

ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT

Isabella is currently studying Finance & Accounting at Anglia Ruskin University London, whilst also gaining valuable work experience working part-time at Jarrovian.

Her financial interest was first kindled whilst studying maths and further maths at school. She joined James and the St Albans team in 2018 and moved to Jarrovian with the rest of CFWM.

Outside of work, Isabella represents Great Britain in cable wakeboarding and is the current British Ladies Open Champion! This high level of competition ensures that she gets to see many different parts of the world in order to compete.

Rose (Rosy) Walsh

Client Relationship Manager

Having started her journey within Financial Services when 21 as an office junior, Rosy quickly moved over into the Risk & Legal Team for a little while then undertook a position back in a Financial Planning firm and achieved the Level 3 Award in Financial Administration. Rosy spent 5 and a half years before having her first son and swiftly onto her second son.

Rosy was thrilled to restart her career in financial services and be part of the exciting journey that Jarrovian is on. Rosy intends to continue her studies to gain further knowledge and understanding of products and the financial services world.

In her spare time Rosy and her family enjoy going for walks, especially in the woods, and occasionally getting slightly lost, as well as going for little bike rides.

DAVID (DAVE) BARNARD

SENIOR COMPLIANCE MANAGER

Prior to moving to the financial planning sector, Dave spent 35 years at HSBC in a variety of roles. He is our Senior Compliance Manager, working closely with our external compliance support and partner companies to ensure that our rigorous standards of advice are not only maintained, but improved where possible.

At Jarrovian Dave sits on the Risk Committee and ensures that everyone’s continuing professional development is relevant and up to date.

In his leisure time, Dave enjoys travelling , particularly within the UK, and is a keen follower of both Queens Park Rangers FC and Yorkshire County Cricket Club.

CLAIRE ANSTEE

FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

Claire has many years’ experience in office management and financial administration, having worked within both financial services and the charity sector. She is a highly organised accomplished bookkeeper and a huge fan of a good trial balance and a well-constructed spreadsheet!

Outside of work, Claire is a whirlwind of activity, being the Treasurer and Trustee of the Barbican Playgroup and the founding chair and now trustee of the Friends of the Guildhall Art Gallery.

Claire loves walking, yoga, spending time with her three daughters and three grandchildren, drinking wine, and eating out with friends. She’s also determined one day to pass her grade five piano exam!
