Coronavirus/COVID-19 Update: Autumn 2020

Further to our initial bulletin posted earlier this year, it seemed an appropriate time to bring you up to date once again with our plans and preparations within the business.

First and foremost, at Jarrovian, we would like to reassure you that we are prepared to support both our colleagues and clients during this time to ensure that your current requirements continue to be met.

We have a Business Continuity Plan in place to prepare us for any possible eventuality that could impact the running of the business, including the current global health issue.

Policies & plans for operational continuity

In line with government advice and supporting the business continuity plan we introduced several procedures to ensure the business could continue to operate and apply a ‘business as usual approach’.  These included the activation of our remote working policy, where all Jarrovian employees are supplied with the necessary resources and tools to do their job from any location.

We firmly believe that the changes made have had no impact on our ability to manage our clients.  Even in the case of self-isolating, we are confident that we have enabled our team to operate proficiently so we can still be productive and continue to support our clients globally.

Although face-to-face meetings are limited on a case by case basis based on our clients’ needs, we have plenty of trained staff to deal with all enquiries.  Where client meetings are undertaken, we have also put in place a comprehensive ‘track and trace’ system and procedures to ensure our clients and staff are comfortable and above all safe

As usual, our team will continue to engage with you through the normal communication channels, including our access to a number of client portals, telephone, and email along with our general support team that can be emailed at hello@jarrovian.co.uk

We will of course keep you updated as this situation changes but in the meantime, if you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact your Financial Planner or known contact.

Business Continuity Tools

To support your own business in the eventuality of self-isolation, we’d like to share with you the tools and resources we rely on to provide remote working and ensure business continuity:

  • Access to business documentation, Virtual Cabinet, Secure Virtual Private Networks, and UK based secure encrypted cloud-based technology, Microsoft One Drive.
  • Web & video conferencing apps Zoom, and Microsoft Teams for an internal conference call.
  • Group chat tool, Via Microsoft Teams.
  • Work collaboration tools, using Microsoft Teams and Trello.
  • Cloud phone system, Avaya for UK offices as well as mobile phones giving use of physical and cloud-based technology.

Being in business is often about adapting to adversity. Coping with the unexpected. And challenges our ability to adapt. Our main advice is to think creatively when it comes to delivering your services.

Our thoughts go out to anyone who has been impacted by COVID-19.

Stay safe, stay creative, and stay connected! For any visitors seeking financial planning advice in these turbulent times, we are very much here to help. Please email us at hello@jarrovian.co.uk
